Juan Pablo Montoya put the #42 Dodge Avenger into victory lane in California. The road course victory is the first Nextel Cup series win for Juan. He was able to pass pole sitter Jamie McMurray with 7 laps to go, and squeeze out a fuel mileage win for his maiden victory. This was also the first win for the new Dodge Avenger.
