The #9 team retook the lead of Nascar’s longest race with only three laps to go. Kasey and the Gillette-Evernham team took advantage of Tony Stewart losing a tire with 3 laps to go to win a Lowe’s Motor Speedway. This is Kasey’s first win in 52 races, not counting the non points race last week at the same track.
