A week after being sent to the back of the pack for a shock violation, Kurt Busch and the #2 Brew Crew stepped up their game and grabbed the pole position for Sunday’s race. Tune in to NBC at 12:30pm on Sunday for the race.

Samuel Hubinette takes Formula D Championship

Hubinette and his Mopar team locked up the 2006 Formula D championship at Irwindale Speedway in California over the weekend. The podium finish gained him a second title in 3 years. The team’s “kick ass” Viper will be retired and they will run an all new Dodge Charger for 2007.

Scott Riggs has take his second pole of the year at Lowe’s motor speedway. Dodge’s have taken the 4 top spots and 5 of the top 10. Kurt Busch had qualified 3rd, but his car failed inspection, and he was regulated to start 42nd. The race kicks off at 7:00 pm Saturday on NBC.
