A.J. Allmendinger
A.J. Allmendinger teamed with Penske Racing near the end of last year, and in 2012 will take the reins of the No. 22. The Californian, who began his career in open wheel racing, drove for Richard Petty Motorsports in 2011, earning one top-five and 10 top-10 finishes, while wrapping up the season 15th in points.
Allmendinger, whose NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut came in 2007, has made 152 career starts with the series, earning 26 top-10 finishes and one pole position. He has driven for three different teams in his Sprint Cup career, as he continues to close in on his first series win.
