Taking a hint from the design and functionality of Daimler-Chrysler’s off-road Unimog trucks, the creator of the “Smart ForFun2″ (the original Smart ForFun was created at the 2005 Athens Motor Show and involved the ForTwo’s bigger sibling, the Smart ForFour) has been juiced up with a more powerful diesel engine, special shock absorbers, and wheels that are almost bigger than the original car itself.

Starting in the 2008 model years of Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler, Sirius will offer three live child-themed TV channels, including Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.

NASCAR’s great research project if finally here. The Car of Tomorrow or C.O.T. will be raced this weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway in the Food City 500. The new car features many saftey improvents and common templates so the racing “should” be even better. Dodge has chosen to race the all new Avenger in all COT races, while Chevy will race the Impala, Ford the Fusion, and Toyota the Camry. Kasey Kahne led todays qualifying until Jeff Gordon bumped him from the pole.
